FindPlay respects intellectual property rights and expects all users and Play Providers to do the same. This policy describes how FindPlay handles copyright complaints under applicable law across all jurisdictions in which FindPlay operates.
By submitting content to FindPlay — including listing descriptions, images, videos, logos, session plans, reviews, and other materials — you represent and warrant that:
You own the intellectual property rights in the content, or you have obtained all necessary licences and permissions from the rights holder.
Your content does not infringe the copyright, trademark, moral rights, or other intellectual property rights of any third party.
You grant FindPlay a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, reproduce, and distribute your content for the purposes of operating the platform and promoting your listing.
FindPlay does not claim ownership of content submitted by users. You retain all ownership rights in your original content.
FindPlay's primary copyright complaint process is governed by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA, 17 U.S.C. § 512). If you believe that content on FindPlay infringes your copyright, submit a DMCA takedown notice to our Designated Copyright Agent. Your notice must include:
Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
Identification of the infringing material, with sufficient detail for FindPlay to locate it (e.g., URL, listing title, screenshot).
Your contact information: name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
A statement of good faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
A statement made under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf.
Your physical or electronic signature.
Submit notices to:
Email: copyright@findplay.com
Post: Copyright Agent, FindPlay, Inc., c/o Registered Agent, Delaware, United States
If content you uploaded was removed as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice including:
Identification of the removed material and where it appeared before removal.
A statement under penalty of perjury that removal resulted from mistake or misidentification.
Your name, address, telephone number, email, and consent to the jurisdiction of the relevant Federal District Court.
Your physical or electronic signature.
FindPlay will forward the counter-notice to the original complainant. If the complainant does not notify FindPlay of legal action within 10–14 business days, FindPlay may restore the content at its discretion.
FindPlay complies with the EU Digital Services Act (DSA) and, where applicable, the EU Copyright Directive (Directive 2019/790). EU-based rights holders may submit copyright complaints using the same process set out in clause 2. FindPlay will additionally:
Provide clear, accessible complaint and redress mechanisms for EU users.
Notify affected users of content removal decisions and the reasons for them.
Provide an internal complaint-handling mechanism for EU users who disagree with a content decision.
Cooperate with out-of-court dispute settlement bodies certified under Article 21 of the DSA.
FindPlay complies with the Australian Copyright Act 1968 (Cth). Australian rights holders may submit copyright complaints using the process in clause 2. FindPlay will handle complaints in accordance with the safe harbour provisions under Part V, Division 2AA of the Copyright Act where applicable.
FindPlay handles UK copyright complaints under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 (CDPA) and applicable UK regulations. Rights holders in the UK may use the same complaint process as set out in clause 2.
Rights holders in Asia-Pacific jurisdictions (including Singapore, Japan, South Korea, and others) may submit complaints using the same process in clause 2. FindPlay will handle complaints in accordance with applicable local copyright law and will cooperate with local authorities where required.
Accounts associated with three or more substantiated copyright takedowns within any 12-month period will be subject to suspension or permanent termination, at FindPlay's sole discretion. This applies globally across all jurisdictions.
Trademark complaints should be submitted to trust@findplay.com. FindPlay is not the adjudicator of trademark disputes but will consider complaints in accordance with its Acceptable Use Policy.
This policy provides procedural information only. FindPlay cannot provide legal advice. Consult a qualified intellectual property attorney in your jurisdiction if you are uncertain of your rights.
